Endangered Wolf Center
Animal Keeper Internships are available year-round with the Endangered Wolf Center located in southwest St. Louis County at Washington University’s Tyson Research Center.
Internships provide hands-on experience working directly with the animal care staff. Responsibilities include diet preparation, monitoring the behavior and health of animals, creating and distributing enrichment, observing training sessions, and habitat maintenance.
Internships are generally three months in duration (24-40 hour work week) and vary depending on the need of the intern or facility, which can be discussed. Internships are unpaid but can be arranged for college credit. Because there are limited intern positions available throughout the year, our internship program is highly competitive. We recommend turning your application in as soon as possible for consideration.
