Keeping the animals in our care engaged and active
Add a 30-Minute Treat to Our Endangered Species Tour
Tossing a tennis ball with your family dog does more than build a bond. Their intelligence stays sharp and his senses alert through stimulation, problem-solving, walks filled with scents to explore and, of course, the universal language of play. Our Enrichment Experience gives visitors the rare opportunity to help provide the animals in our care with a similar kind of exercise and stimulation.
Treats, no tricks
Participants watch up close as members of our Animal Care team provide tasty treats, stimulating scents, and interesting items for one of our canid families to investigate. Their play and exploration is entertaining for us and beneficial to them.
Why enrichment is important
Enrichment opportunities are an important part of our animal’s care and well-being, because it keeps them active, enhances their problem-solving capabilities, and promotes natural behaviors.
Add-on to an Endangered Species Tour
This program is usually purchased as an add-on experience and does not include a tour of the rest of our animals. For that we recommend our signature Endangered Species Tour.

I’m so glad we added the Enrichment Experience. Our son cackled with delight seeing the wolves play with their iced treats. Such a fun way to end our day after the Endangered Species Tour.
