Rent Our Historic Bunker for Your Next Event
Originally a military storage bunker, the Learning Center and the Celeste Ruwwe Gift Shop is an indoor space unlike any other. With a large screen surrounded by animal artifacts, the learning center has seating for up to 44 people, with optional bar tables to expand the space to a total of 53 people. Banquet bars are available for serving food and drinks or displays for your event.

What it includes
Set up and tear down of all tables and chairs, trash maintenance, wifi, and a smart TV upon request. Guests are welcome to provide their own food, drinks (non-alcoholic only), and decorations (to stay eco-friendly, glitter, confetti, and balloons are not permitted). Guests are expected to remove food, drink, and decorations at the end of their rental time.
*Please note, renting the bunker does not provide you access to the staff-designated areas (sales counter or break room) nor the animal habitats. Guests will not visit the animals’ habitats unless they book a tour. The bunker does not have running water, and restroom facilities are an outdoor port-a-potty next to the building. Gift shop items must be purchased and are not included in the price.
Pricing
Determined by day of the week and time of day
- Monday-Friday: $460 for two hours beginning at 9 am, 11 am, or 1 pm. Multiple times may be reserved by the same group. Available November-May with restrictions during peak times. A private tour can be added on at standard prices and times, subject to availability.
- Saturday-Sunday: $750 for three hours beginning at 1 pm. Available November-May with restrictions during peak times. A private tour can be added at 11 am at standard prices.
- Friday-Sunday evenings: $750 for two hours beginning between 4 pm and 6 pm. Sundays are available on a limited basis.
Groups over 50 are subject to additional pricing and will include outdoor seating at picnic tables. A campfire may be added for $100. Booking is subject to management’s discretion. For requests outside the listed availability or during peak times, an additional charge may be incurred. An additional 30 minutes prior to rental start time for setup is available for $50.
Timeframe
Two hours on weekdays, three hours on weekends, or two hours in the evening.

Private Campfire Wolf Howl
Gather your pack around the campfire for a private evening with one of nature's most iconic sounds. After an educational presentation about wolves, your guide leads you down Howl Road to call out and (hopefully) hear them answer back. Wrap up the night with light refreshments and memories you won't forget.
What it includes
Group howl, campfire, use of picnic tables and stage in the campfire area as well as indoor bunker, s’mores and seasonal beverages provided, and a short educational presentation.
Seasonal or themed activities are available upon request and may incur additional fees, depending on the activities chosen.

- 1 - 25 people – $625 June, July, October-December, $500 during the rest of the year
- 26 - 50 people – $1,200

Premium Private Campfire Howl
Gather your pack for a 3-hour private campfire experience complete with s'mores, seasonal beverages, and a group howl under the stars. Enjoy a short educational presentation, full use of the campfire area, picnic tables, stage, and indoor bunker—with seasonal or themed add-ons available on request.
This is an ideal program for groups that would like to bring in catering or any groups larger than 50 guests.
