It's Time to Party with the Pack at Wolf Fest

The Endangered Wolf Center is excited to host Wolf Fest, our largest annual event celebrating conservation, wildlife, and community. Centered around our mission to protect and preserve endangered wolves and other wild canids, this family-friendly day offers open-house style animal tours, live music, kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and more!

  • 10:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. – Pumpkin Stuffing (limited to 50 guests)
  • 12:00 p.m. –  Stuffed Pumpkins given out to Maned Wolves, Foxes, African Painted Dogs (5 Habitats)
  • 2:30 p.m.  –  Whole Prey Enrichment at the African Painted Dogs

We’re thrilled to expand our vendor opportunities this year. In addition to our long-standing conservation partners, we are now inviting vendors who value conservation, sustainability, or environmental stewardship, including artists and makers whose handcrafted goods, artwork, or creative expressions reflect a passion for nature, wildlife, or the natural world. If your organization or business is mission-based and committed to positive local or global impact, we encourage you to apply. Vendors will be selected on a juried basis: applications will be reviewed and chosen based on fit with our mission, quality, and overall event balance.

What is Wolf Fest?

Wolf Fest is the signature event for the Endangered Wolf Center! This fall festival embraces all your favorite things about our unique destination. Centering around our mission to protect and preserve endangered wolves and other wild canids, visitors will enjoy a family-friendly day of activities for all ages. Guests will enjoy an open-house tour to see wolves and other wild canids, a kids area, food trucks, conservation partners and education, live music, special enrichment activities for the animals, bird shows by World Bird Sanctuary, and more!

Are tickets required for Wolf Fest?

Yes. Vehicle passes are required and purchasing in advance on our website is strongly recommended as prices increase on the day of the event.

Where is parking for Wolf Fest?

General Admission Parking is located at Tyson Valley Park, located at 1301 Beaumont Antire Road. Accessible parking is available upon request.

Can I bring my dog?

For the comfort of the resident animals, no pets are allowed on the property. 

When does the shuttle come?

Shuttles from General Admission parking to Wolf Fest will run from 10:20 am through 3:00 pm. As there will be several shuttles running all day, we anticipate only a few minutes of waiting once you arrive at the shuttle stop.

Shuttles will return guests to the parking area throughout the day, until 4:15 pm.

When will each band play?
  • Ted Bear 11 am - 1 pm
  • Devon Cahill 1:30 - 3:30 pm
When are the bird shows?

Bird shows are at 11 - 11:45 am and 1 - 1:45 pm.

When and where are the enrichment feedings?

Stuffed pumpkins will be given to animals at 12 pm and whole prey enrichment will be given to African painted dogs at 2:30 pm.

When is the face painter here?

The face painter will be here from 11 am - 3 pm. 

What food will be available at Wolf Fest?

Several food trucks will be in attendance this year. Check our website for more information in the upcoming weeks!

If I can’t make Wolf Fest this year, what other events are occurring?

Can I smoke at Wolf Fest?

Since the Endangered Wolf Center is located on a research facility, no smoking of any kind is permitted on our grounds.

Will Wolf Fest still happen if it rains?

This is a rain-or-shine event, so pack your rain boots and bring a poncho if needed, and get ready for a wild day of fun, learning, and community. Many of our activities and vendor spaces are prepared for any weather, and we promise an unforgettable experience no matter what the forecast says. Come prepared and join us as we celebrate wildlife, conservation, and community.

For the safety of our guests, staff, and animals, lightning and severe weather may require us to temporarily shelter in place or cancel the event. If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, guests will receive a gift card for the full amount of their pass purchase should the event be cancelled before 1:30 pm the day of the event, which can be used toward any of our programs, including Wolf Fest in 2027.
