It’s Time to Party with the Pack at Wolf Fest

Wolf Fest is back! The Endangered Wolf Center is reimagining our largest annual event to embrace your favorite things about this unique destination. Centering around our mission to protect and preserve endangered wolves and other wild canids, visitors will enjoy a family-friendly day of activities for all ages.

After visiting our animals during an open-house style tour, guests can enjoy food trucks, live music, kid’s activities, and more!

What is Wolf Fest?

Wolf Fest is the signature event for the Endangered Wolf Center! This fall festival embraces all your favorite things about our unique destination. Centering around our mission to protect and preserve endangered wolves and other wild canids, visitors will enjoy a family-friendly day of activities for all ages. Guests will enjoy an open-house tour to see wolves and other wild canids, a kids area, food trucks, conservation partners and education, live music, special enrichment activities for the animals, bird shows by World Bird Sanctuary, and more!

Are tickets required for Wolf Fest?

Yes. Vehicle passes are required and purchasing in advance on our website is strongly recommended as prices increase on the day of the event.

Where is parking for Wolf Fest?

General Admission Parking is located at Tyson Valley Park, located at 1301 Beaumont Antire Road. VIP admission includes on-site parking. Accessible parking is available upon request.

What is included in a Wolf Fest VIP ticket?

VIPs get access to early admittance, on-site parking, exclusive programming, and a private lounge with food and drink available throughout the day.

Can I bring my dog?

For the comfort of the resident animals, no pets are allowed on the property. 

When does the shuttle come?

Shuttles from General Admission parking to Wolf Fest will run from 1030am through 330pm. As there will be several shuttles running all day, we anticipate only a few minutes of waiting once you arrive at the shuttle stop!

When will each band play?
  • Ted Bear 11 am – 1 pm
  • Devon Cahill 1:30 – 3:30 pm
When are the bird shows?

Bird shows are at 11 – 11:45 am and 1 – 1:45 pm.

When and where are the enrichment feedings?

Stuffed pumpkins will be given to animals at 12 pm and whole prey enrichment will be given to African painted dogs at 2:30 pm.

When is the face painter here?

The face painter will be here from 11 am – 3 pm. 

What food will be available at Wolf Fest?

Several food trucks will be in attendance this year. Check our website for more information in the upcoming weeks!

If I can’t make Wolf Fest this year, what other events are occurring?

We will miss you at Wolf Fest, but hope you will join us soon! Upcoming events include:

  • Howl-o-Ween – October 25th & 31st
  • Paint the Pack – December 6th
  • Deck the Howls – December 20th & 27th
Can I smoke at Wolf Fest?

Since the Endangered Wolf Center is located on a research facility, no smoking of any kind is permitted on our grounds.

Will Wolf Fest still happen if it rains?

No matter what the weather brings, the wolves are ready to celebrate—and we are too!

Wolf Fest is a rain-or-shine event, so pack your rain boots, bring a poncho, and get ready for a wild day of fun, learning, and community. Many of our activities and vendor spaces are prepared for any weather, and we promise an unforgettable experience no matter what the forecast says.Come prepared and join us as we celebrate wildlife, conservation, and community—rain, shine, or anything in between!
