Tour Highlights

Learn from the best

Dreaming of a career working with wildlife, or love animals and want to spend a day in their company? This is a wonderful opportunity. Learn how our unique and world-renowned animal care techniques prepare wolves for life in the wild and how our non-release animals are trained.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves

Make no mistake, it takes hard work to care for these animals, including lifting, a lot of walking (on uneven ground), and being in the elements (weather, insects, etc.) – rain or shine. We only cancel if the weather is dangerous.

Wear comfortable, closed-toed walking shoes (we recommend hiking boots, waterproof boots, or tennis shoes), long pants, and a comfortable T-shirt that you don’t mind getting dirty. Walking and lifting will be part of the day. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle and a snack. A member of our animal care team will meet you at the gate at 9 am.

WOW so much to learn! The enrichment experiences were my favorite, of course, but to be focused on a task then suddenly hear the forest begin to echo with a growing chorus of howls…priceless.
