Kids Out and About St. Louis has announced its 2014 list of the Top 20 Places to Take Kids in St. Louis and the Endangered Wolf Center is ranked fourth. The rankings were determined by a public vote on the Kids Out and About website. The results were announced July 1, 2014.

The Endangered Wolf Center has many activities for children, including five four-day Summer Wolf Camps (June 23-26, July 7-10, July 21-24, July 28-31, Aug. 4-7) and two one-day Fall Wolf Camps (Oct. 11, Oct. 18).
The Center held its first ever Messy Play Day on June 29 for children ranging from toddlers to age 5, and will have another on Oct. 12.
The Endangered Wolf Center has public tours of the five species of canids that live there – Mexican wolves, red wolves, maned wolves, swift foxes and African painted dogs. Public tours are offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and on Sundays at 1 p.m. The Center also offers private tours Wednesdays through Sundays.
And the Center has a variety of family friendly evening wolf howls.
RESERVATIONS ARE NEEDED
Reservations are required for all public and private tours and evening howls, and are easily made by calling 636-938-5900.
The Center is a non-profit and receives no funding from the federal or state government. It relies entirely on income from memberships, donations, grants, gift shop sales, and tour and event revenue.
