“I’m reaching out to all of YOU my biggest supporters to help this awesome organization save a rare and critically endangered species from the brink of extinction. Currently, there are less than 20 known American red wolves left in the wild, occupying less than 1% of their original range. Let’s make sure these creatures make a comeback fast! Make a donation today.”

Forrest Galante, Adventurer, TV Host, & Conservationist

Wildlife biologist Forrest Galante, along with his wife and zoologist, Jessica Summerfield, traveled to Missouri to meet the wolves and film his latest episode of Mysterious CreaturesThe Legend of the Ozark Howler featured on Discovery+ and on Animal Planet. While filming at the Endangered Wolf Center, Forrest Galante held a wolf pup during its annual health exam and quickly determined he was going to be part of helping to save the most endangered mammal in the world, the American red wolf.

He has teamed up with the Endangered Wolf Center to raise awareness and money to help our vitally important conservation work with American red wolves. Much like Forrest’s purpose to end human conflicts with these mysterious creatures, the Endangered Wolf Center’s vision is a world where endangered wolves and other wild canids exist and thrive in their native habitats, recognized and valued for their vital roles as leading members of a healthy ecosystem. Together, we can save the American red wolf so its howl can be heard for generations to come.
