Wine And Cheese - Wolf Howl

This truly unique adults-only evening begins at 7 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception accompanied by an informative lecture-style program on wolf communication and behavior. You will explore the myths and misconceptions that surround the wolf, including whether wolves really howl at a full moon!

Following the indoor program, you and your Endangered Wolf Center (EWC) hosts will walk about a 1/2 mile (round trip) to an area near the wolf enclosures for the highlight of the event. There, we will attempt to get the wolves to howl. Our wolves usually answer but, like all wild animals, they are unpredictable and may not respond.

After the Howl, you will enjoy coffee and dessert along with an opportunity for you to ask questions and browse our gift shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and mementos.

This program is offered year-round January-December, the third Friday of the month. Reservations are required!

To Make Reservations

Evening Programs fill up very quickly so please make your reservation early. Reservations may be made by phone to the EWC office using MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express (processing fee applies.)

Because alcohol is being served, guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend; proper identification may be requested prior to being served at the event.

When making reservations for a group, please insure that everyone in your party is aware of the program procedures and directions to the EWC.

Reservation Confirmation and Refunds

Payment must be made in full at the time you make your reservation. As soon as we receive your reservation and payment, a confirmation letter will be sent to you.

To receive a refund or reschedule, you must contact the EWC office at least 14 days in advance of your paid reservation.

If we must cancel the program due to unforeseeable circumstances, you will receive a full refund or an opportunity to reschedule.
 

Private Event Opportunities

We offer private Wine and Cheese Wolf Howls. This special event can be arranged for any private group up to 40 people. This event is ideal for client or employee appreciation or a private birthday or anniversary celebration. A minimum of 20 people or a $400 booking fee is required.
