The Endangered Wolf Center volunteer positions give participants the opportunity to learn about wolves and their place in the natural world. Your service to the wolf truly helps ensure the survival of this misunderstood member of the dog family. Those who wish to volunteer their services must become members of the EWC, and attend a brief interview. Those who are interested in conducting educational programs must successfully complete an additional training courses to become Docents. To find out how to become a volunteer please contact Pamela Braasch at 636-938-5900 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 636-938-5900 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 636-938-5900 end_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting or pbraasch@endangeredwolfcenter.org.
As participants in the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Mexican Gray and Red Wolf Recovery Programs, the Endangered Wolf Center's long range goal is to breed and return these endangered animals to the wild. Therefore, as a matter of security, no volunteer activities involve direct contact with wolves.
The following descriptions of volunteer niches at the The Endangered Wolf Center cannot cover all of the talents and expertise which will be needed in the course of the organization's growth and expansion. There is opportunity here for almost anyone who is truly committed to the welfare of the wolf.
